Still Hopeful About A Job Playing Games

I know… The title sounds weird, but I love Playing Games. (Video Games that is.)

Not that I don’t love working for myself again, but I really miss actual work on a daily basis.  When I worked part time selling TVs, stereos, and more I got to interact with people daily, and I made some friends at the job.  I do miss that job, but the pay just wasn’t as great as the people.

I wouldn’t mind working for a gaming company because I am a video gamer at heart, and I would be the ultimate person to have work for someone.  I am thorough, and I get the job done.  Does anyone have any connections at a gaming company for me?

I applied to the same company for a position in the computer department.  I was told that there was some restructuring going on, and that they would keep me in mind.  I have tried many times for Jobs in IT, but I was never cut for any positions.  I don’t understand it because I wasn’t looking for outrageous money, or anything.  I think what it was was that there is always a kid coming out of school that is “Wet Behind The Ears”, and companies look for younger people to employ from what I have seen.

I am keeping my fingers crossed, but I still run into the situation of what do I do with my company if I was to get that job.  I will not lose control of my company ever again, but time, and conflict of interest issues could be brought to play.
