Today I was flying around the different areas of Just Cause 2.  I was curious why the island in the top left had no objectives, or undiscovered areas.  At first I took a copter, and it took forever.  Once I got to the island I found that my plane was destroyed by what appeared to be an electrical storm.  I parachuted down, and then happened to find a vehicle.  I drove around a bit till I got to the tallest tower.  I managed to use my grappling hook clamps on the building as I made my way up.  Once at the top I found there was nothing to do as of yet.  I eventually got shot up by guys in that area.

The next time I went back I called my Black Market dealer, and got the little jet.  I went there, and happened to end up in the middle of nowhere.  I had the Black Market dealer drop me the armored tank type vehicle.  I did some research, and found that the island comes to play much later in the game.  I also found out that “LOST” is referenced also.  There is a plane wreck of Oceanic 815.  I haven’t had a chance to look around all of the island, but I hear you can see the hatch also.
