In my house I like to game in extreme comfort.  I have a small table next to me for my drinks, remotes, and anything else I may need while playing video games.  Recently my wife was trying to figure out what furniture she was considering replacing.  I told her that we don’t have the money right now, and she turned to me, and said that she has a little money stashed away, and that if she wants new furniture…she will get new furniture.

The couch, loveseat, and chair we have currently have all have recliners built into them.  I will not accept anything less than what I have currently, and I have expressed my thoughts.  She wants to get some modern sofas, and maybe a recliner.  I am totally against changing what I sit in because it will change my style of playing of the video games.

What would you do if your other half wanted to make a major change like that to something you don’t want to change?
