As gamers we don’t rely on cheats, but from time to time we do use strategy guides.  If you are a gamer, then I am sure that strategy / walkthrough guides are something you are familiar with.  Recently we went to Gamestop to purchase a few games, and trade in some games.  While we were talking to the salesperson we were told about The Edge.

So what is the Edge card?

The Edge card gets you a year’s subscription to Game Informer magazine, chock full of coupons and new info on hot titles. You also get 10% more on anything you buy used excluding systems, plus 10% extra on your trade-ins, and that piles on top of any other sale! So, right now, we have a tiered trade going on, which means you bring in three games, you get an extra 20%, 4 games, an extra 30%, and five games, an extra 30%, which means if you get that card asap, and do a trade-in you can get 40% extra! We also have buy 2, get 1 free on everything used, therefore, you save 10% on what you are paying for (excellent for use on next-gen consoles.) It’s a handy little thing to have. It’s fifteen dollars, for a whole year of that oh-so-wonderful magazine and savings/coupons galore.

I joined because when it comes to gaming books I get them when I can, and this comes with a magazine subscription.

I would definitelly recommend this if you are an avid gamer.  The discounts alone are worth the cost.
