For many years I have tried to come up with a foolproof business idea that had to do with video games, and video game systems. Blockbuster took over most of the business with video game rentals. After that there was GameFly. Then the next thing came… RedBox. But these companies only offered a rental, or a purchase in the end. Something was bound to come up that would outdo these current business ventures. Why can’t I ever figure out something that I can pull off? I just found out about another system that is currently in Beta stage, but sounds like a very lucrative business. They offer video game trades. You don’t need to worry about hunting for FREE shipping coupon codes to get the games back to them. They handle everything. Just go to their site and register so that you can get more information.

Have you ever noticed how many people out there seem like they got a degree online in video gaming? Many of the people I play online with have a vast amount of skills at gaming. Other people that I game against only have skills because they find exploits in games and take advantage of them. I for one can’t stand cheaters. I know that many companies fight to stop cheating the best that they can. For the most part there aren’t many ways of hacking PS3, and XBox games. Many PC games have issues because people find ways to cheat, and hack games.

I am not claiming to be the best video gamer on the planet, but I do play with class.

My wife has been given the opportunity to try out quite a few exercise type video games. She has tried out Sports Active, Sports Active 2, and UFC Personal Trainer. My wife has also been asked by many people if she wants to join them at their fitness activities. She always declines because she is either too busy, or won’t do something until she has tried it to be sure that she is comfortable with it. The other day our neighbor came over to tell us that she was trying to workout zumba style on the Wii. She needed another controller, or something in order for it to work. My wife didn’t know anything about a zumba title for the Wii. Now she is anxiously awaiting our neighbor to finish up with it for a few days so that she can try it out.

Some of these titles must come out very quietly because I didn’t read anything about it.

When I play a video game I like to get comfortable so that I can immerse myself into the game at hand. The current game at hand is Battlefield 3. I have had a recliner in my living room for some time. The other day I came home and found my wife cleaning up and getting rid of stuff. She immediately told me that the recliner had to go. She gave me 3 days to move it to the front of the house for bulk pickup.

Why did she do this? Well, as with almost anything in the world things break. My recliner had many children on it from time to time, and also people would always sit on the arm of the recliner. It had weakened the arm so that it wouldn’t operate correctly.

Now I am trying to adjust my body to playing from a couch. I am noticing more that my body is in some serious pain after some time on the couch. I will have to find a solution to keep my gaming going, and avoid having back problems that could cause the need for back surgery.

When you read Easter Eggs it is not a reference to any physical Easter Eggs similar to ones you can find at the Happy Easter store. Easter Eggs in video games are

A virtual Easter egg is an intentional hidden message, in-joke or feature in a work such as a computer program, web page, video game, movie, book or crossword. The term was coined—according to Warren Robinett—by Atari after they were pointed to the secret message left by Robinett in the game Adventure. It draws a parallel with the custom of the Easter egg hunt observed in many Western nations as well as the last Russian imperial family’s tradition of giving elaborately jeweled egg-shaped creations by Carl Fabergé which contained hidden surprises.

Throughout my gaming time I have purposely searched for these Easter Eggs. Most of the time it is very hard to replicate how to view them.

I still do not understand why programmers would embed these into a game. Unless you were someone that specifically looked for bugs in games, or happened to get that frantic joystick mash working one night then I can’t believe you would just happen to run into one.

Being a Battlefield fan I rather enjoyed this Easter Egg in Bad Company 2. (It references Call Of Duty.)

I have been doing installations of computers, networks, stereos, and tvs for 15+ years. Along with my highly experienced technicians we have gone as far as disproving where manufacturers claim a subwoofer should be located. We have learned a lot of things in the many years of business. Recently I was shocked to see a LG home theatre system perform in a manor that surprised me. With all the right factors at the customers home we were at I was amazed to see a “Boxed” theatre system perform close enough to a high end stereo system that I am familiar with.

For the most part over the years I have been convinced that most “In The Box” systems on the market are purely not enough for someone that wants their sound to be perfect. I am now seeing that not all of these systems are bod.

I have been kicking myself for close to 3 years now. Why is that you ask. Well, 3 years ago I had the opportunity to meet a guy that put all of my techology ideas into one box. He created Gamin Ride. I had been telling my wife that this was the ultimate way to make money before I had met this guy. Gamin Ride is a trailer that is pulled via a pickup truck fitted with trailer hitches that is filled with all of the gaming systems that are available on the market. (PS3, Wii, XBox) There is a unique scent system that is also in the trailer. This is the ultimate in gaming systems. Even the outside of the trailer has large screen tvs for the parents to watch tv, or whatever while kids are in the trailer.

Gamin Ride goes out to parties, and a lot more. All I can say is that I envy this guy for doing what I had been thinking of doing. While we are at this topic I have to finish thinking up the ultimate war gaming system. I just read up about someone that has a BMW fully rigged for auto racing so that you can steer the game with the car steering system. Check it out here. I am not fully finished with my idea, but I am going to figure out how to do this.

When you have to purchase a new computer each time they release a new game in order to play, then you know that technology in video games is getting better. I know that this costs a pretty penny, but for the most part what people don’t understand is that majority of the time it is really only the video card that needs an overhaul. Think of it like pool lifts that are used for the handicapped. As new chairs come out new lift kits are needed to accomodate these chairs.

I used to play Battlefield on my PC. This stopped when I was spending a small fortune to upgrade my computer in order to play the game each time a new version came out. This is one of the biggest reasons I rely on my PS3.

Back when I had the PS2 I played the Sierra title “Scarface – The World Is Yours.” Being that I am a big Scarface fan I can’t say anything bad about the game. I can however state that with the technology available to the gaming industry I think that Sierra could make some serious sales if they redid the game, and followed more of the movie storyline. Yes things would have to end differently possibly, but in general people could actually live out the movie.

The game is very similar to all of the Grand Theft Auto series. They could do some really nice things to compliment the movie, and a lot of Scarface fans would purchase this game in my opinion. The graphics in the original game were good, but they could be much more lifelike now, and everything would play out well.

This is only my thoughts because when looking for cigars the other day I ran into cigar retailers that are selling several different posters of Al Pacino as “Scarface” smoking a cigar that is more than likely a Cuban, but could be any cigar such as Rocky Patel cigars because many cigars look like Cubans when they aren’t Cuban.

What are your thoughts on the original Scarface game for the PS2? Do you think a remake would work better, and would you play it?

As you can see above this may look like fun to some of us. Well, back almost a year ago I joked about how I wouldn’t mind having a projector to do my video gaming on. I recently had the opportunity to install and configure one, and I have changed my mind. What I never realized in all my years of installation is that the picture on a projector isn’t as nice as a plasma TV, led TV, LCD tv, or even the tvs with dlp and LCD projectors built into them. The colors just aren’t as crisp, and bright as a true tv.

For someone that is looking to have a outside screen for camping, or something of that line then this would be a great solution because they are easy to setup, and take down.

Walking around with briefcases is a common thing, but Hitman makes it look good. Think about it… How many people can open up their briefcase, and get a full change of clothes out of it, and change to avoid being seen? Not many as far as I know. If I saw this guy coming into my building I would get a bit suspicious. I am still amazed at the fact that they haven’t made a new Hitman for the PS3. That was classic gameplay.

What did you think about Hitman for the PS2?

As gamers we don’t rely on cheats, but from time to time we do use strategy guides. If you are a gamer, then I am sure that strategy / walkthrough guides are something you are familiar with. Recently we went to Gamestop to purchase a few games, and trade in some games. While we were talking to the salesperson we were told about The Edge.

So what is the Edge card?

The Edge card gets you a year’s subscription to Game Informer magazine, chock full of coupons and new info on hot titles. You also get 10% more on anything you buy used excluding systems, plus 10% extra on your trade-ins, and that piles on top of any other sale! So, right now, we have a tiered trade going on, which means you bring in three games, you get an extra 20%, 4 games, an extra 30%, and five games, an extra 30%, which means if you get that card asap, and do a trade-in you can get 40% extra! We also have buy 2, get 1 free on everything used, therefore, you save 10% on what you are paying for (excellent for use on next-gen consoles.) It’s a handy little thing to have. It’s fifteen dollars, for a whole year of that oh-so-wonderful magazine and savings/coupons galore.

I joined because when it comes to gaming books I get them when I can, and this comes with a magazine subscription.

I would definitelly recommend this if you are an avid gamer. The discounts alone are worth the cost.

I am the type of person that heavily immerses myself into a game when I do get time to play. If I could only formulate a way to do some serious relaxing, and gaming at the same time. We would all be much happier. I have come up with a great invention for those that would love the same. Imagine what it would be like to play a video game while laying on massage tables. A movable lcd screen for those times when your face down on the table. Maybe even some special control means so that you don’t actually have to hold a controller.

If you are an inventor, then make this happen, and keep me in mind when you make the money from it.
