Back in the 90′s I played video games whenever possible. I used to play mainly a lot of FPS (First Player Shooters), but I did try out other games that my now wife would enjoy playing also. We tried out the Sims. It was never as advanced as it is now. In the game they have kissing, bathing, and from what I have seen they also have skimpy dressed characters like the one in a sexy maid costume.

They have really made it hard for a parent to go off of what they know from the past. Back then The Sims would have been ok for my child. The game seems a bit more mature at this point, and I am not totally sure if it is something that I would allow my daughter to play at her age.

Have you ever played The Sims? What is the most recent version? What are your feelings about current The Sims games?

I remember when I played the original GTA on the PC. It was then redone for the Playstation. Since GTA there have been many games that came out that tried to imitate the GTA name. There was Driver, Mercenaries, Saints Row, Getaway, Just Cause, and there are too many to list. The one game that was a very good attempt is Red Dead Redemption. In this game all you needed was some horse riding apparel, and some good gun slinging. By far I found this game to be exceptional.

GTA will stand for the way a lot of gaming will be produced. There is always someone looking to run, and gun.

What games did you play that were like GTA? Which ones just didn’t meet your expectations?

Ever since we started camping a few years ago I have gotten more, and more ideas on how I can spruce up our backyard, and still enjoy my video gaming. My wife has taken a small area of our backyard with a outdoor firepit, but I still think that I can make everything work if I could just get a hold of all the necessary stuff cheap.

I want to be able to sit outside, and play Call of Duty, and Battlefield on a very large screen. I have seen pictures of what others have done, and they have got it made. If I could only figure a way of waterproofing a PS3 controller I would have it made. Then I could float around the pool, and still be gaming.

Does anyone have any good suggestions to make this happen? Does anyone have any stuff they would be willing to donate? I will give you full credit in the story.

With Mothers Day coming up I have been trying to think of gifts that might be good for my mother. My mother plays various games on her Mac, but I don’t buy software for people. This is something that may not work out correctly. I thought about a Playstation Network card because they watch movies, but decided that she probably wouldn’t like anything in the Store. She doesn’t play games on the PS3 so that is also out. I have been seriously thinking about just sending flowers. They say everything.

What do you get for a mother that has almost anything, but plays games on a computer more than anything else?

We just did a bit of remodeling at my house. We organized, and decorated the “Game Room” of the house. I have always wanted to add that special decorating touch to the room by getting some military designed furniture. I know I can’t just go into a pulaski furniture store and purchase any. Getting a hold of it probably wouldn’t be that hard because all I would have to do is get a buddy of mine to take some furniture out to the range and shoot it up real good, and then do some cleanup work on it so that it would be slightly presentable. My wife thinks that I am a loon, and told me to knock it off because she uses the “Game Room” also. What do you think? Have you ever seen furniture that looks somewhat ok with the “Shot-up” look?

Just navigate to the site like normal, and if you want to see the full site just scroll to the bottom, and turn off the mobile view.

I realize that many people do surf from their phones, so this was a key step in making the site more accessible.

Thanks to the WPTouch plugin this is all possible.

I have been trying to find a way to purchase video games each, and every single time that I want one. Well, with the economy the way it is I have found it hard to purchase any video games at all. Latelly I have only been able to play my older games, or the games that we get in to review. Well, the other day I came up with a thought that may work for me. I told my wife to buy gold coins whenever she sees the price extremelly low. With the economy gold has become a very desired commodity. With the profit we make I can then purchase all the video games that I want.

What do you think of this idea?

We sometimes sit around and play the PS3 version of Monopoly because my little one just isn’t into the gun games that I play. The other day my daughter, and I were playing a video game and she ran out of the room on me. What I didn’t realize was that because of her acne she doesn’t like to be around some people because she doesn’t want to be picked on. We know that my daughter has an acne problem. Yes, she understands that this comes with age, and what you eat also contributes. I told her that what she needs to do next time she is just sitting around and playing the PS3 with us she should try some of the natural acne treatments that we found for her since she doesn’t like some of the over the counter stuff that we have bought in the past. She has agreed to try it, and now she jokes around that she wins because the creams, and such are distracting me from my game.

I then told her this…

Stay away from chocolates, potato chips, and such when playing the video games. Yes, they are nice to have and hold your stomach over, but sitting there playing a game and eating sometimes leads to bad things like weight issues, acne, and more.

She told me that she fully understands, and will follow those wise words.

You know when you put a video game in and you see tons of credits? You have also noticed that some of the games have an “Extras”, or similar section where they put other things. Well, here is a unique way of advertising. Have advertisers pay a small fee for “Short” commercials that play prior to the game, or advertisers that pay to have their product in a game, and advertisements show up for them at special points. I have already noticed some in-game televisions play shows that they make for the games, and there is another opportune place for some advertisements. They could do some weight loss, diet pill reviews, car commercials, or almost anything.

Here were my picks…

Rainbow Six – Vegas – The graphics were not what I expected, and gameplay was slightly weak.

The Last Guy — The game is a heads down attempt at an alien encounter.

Heavy Rain — The storyline was a bit drawn out, and no major action. The game seemed short.

The winner is…

Heavy Rain

If you are interested in any of these games, then you can always visit bestsleepingpills.org for some real good sleep solutions.

I want to get a new camper because the one that we have is very small. Can anyone point me to some sort of job testing video games that will make me some money? I can’t even try to get any rv loans because I can’t afford another loan, and also I like to purchase new games as they come out, and a camper would obviously put a stop to that. I am good at video games, and wouldn’t mind testing games. I have watched the Playstation show “The Tester”, and found that this would be great for me. The only problem that I have is that I can’t afford to take time out of work to go to the show if I was accepted.

The Tester is a show that people compete for a chance to gain a job with Sony as a game “tester.”

Help me… I love to play video games, and wouldn’t mind making money doing this either.

If you have been watching the market, news, and more then you already know that Blackberry is losing in comparison to Android. Why is that? Well, if you are asking the question, then you need to come out of the stone age of phones. Blackberry was always a nice phone, and good for business people for years. The Android phone line has become the more popular way to go. Every company has a playbook, and maybe the Blackberry playbook isn’t being read correctly at this point. I for one can tell you that the games, and apps are much better on an Android. The Android phones have made internet browsing, video watching, and much more a lot easier. By the way… Android is actually starting to hurt the IPhone market.

Take it for what it is worth… Android rules the phone market.

The other day my wife alerted me that my weight was getting a bit out of where it should be. To back this up she had me pull out one of the scales from our house so that she could prove a point to me. I told her that I have been trying to work as much as possible, and that when I am not working I use the Playstation Move as much as possible. She laughed. What she realized is that the Playstation Move does help with your muscles, and that I need to watch my eating, and maybe use the EA Active system that we have if I wanted to rely on a video game to keep my weight down.

I told her that I do what is comfortable for me, and that I will try to find ways to keep my weight down. We have come to the decision that we will both work out together on the Wii, and the Playstation.
