I recently got the chance to check out UFC Disputed 2010 for the PS3.

The game has some very good graphics, and the sound effects were pretty good.  I have played a few fighting type games in the past, and this one looks better than I expected.  The matches take place in virtual copies of actual locations, and there are even announcers.  To get anymore real the only thing they would need is some medics with their gear, and pulse oximeters for the fighters.  THQ has done great in the past with the wrestling titles, and this one is great for those that want to feel like a UFC fighter.  This game has a exhibition, tournament, and arcade mode.  You can fight against local players, or take to the internet for some more fighting.

I give the game a 9 out of 10.

Wife: This is a cute game for little girls who like to play dress up.  There are a lot of things for girls to do in the game.  There is a part for grown-ups to setup skill levels, and birthday settings.

Daughter:  In Lovely Lisa you can have jobs, and help your virtual mom, and dad around the house.  You play mini games too.   While doing these things you earn points that you can use to buy make-up, and clothes.  One of the mini games that I didn’t like was the piano lessons.  I found it a bit hard for me to complete, and needed some help with it.  Another of the things that you learn is hair design.  This wasn’t hard to do, and you earn points by doing this.  Styling Lisa was very easy to do.  There is a town map that helps you get around the game, and things to do.  There are lots of places to go like the career center where you can try out the jobs that you can do.

I feel the game is easy enough for girls of all ages to have a lot of fun with.  The graphics were cute, and very girl oriented.  No freezing, or pixelation that I noticed.  I liked that it has a lot of places to go, and things to do.  There is some camera interactivity in the game, but I don’t have a camera on my Nintendo DS.

I give the game a 8 out of 10.  This is because you have to be into girly things like fashion, and make-up.  Being a little girl I know some girls may not like all that cutsie stuff.

Battlefield 2 PC

Battlefield for the PC is a FPS that allows you to drive tanks, jeeps, jets, copters, and more.  You are in a battle to control territories.  You can play single player, or online against other players.

My neighbor, and I had a dedicated server setup so that we could go online, and either fight together against a bunch of computer players, or fight against each other with computer teammates.  The server software is FREE to download from the Battlefield site.
